First day of senior year.

Even thought I’m still heavily listening to Watch The Throne, i have a feeling this record will take its place in weeks to come. Absolutely gorgeous. Thank you, Tony Nappa.
I’ve done a few musical projects during high school, and after this summer I felt inspired and ready to start a new one to put my creativity to use. I was going to call my new project Zebra Safari, a musical adventure that would dig into chillwave and lo-fi music. I thought the name was really funny, and kept telling a few friends i wanted to start a project with that name. I had also joked about doing rap projects quite a bit, and before I new it Zebra Safari switched from a chillwave idea to a rap group. Two of my good friends, Ben Barber and Peter Huston, both share my love of good rap music. Two days ago we decided we’d do a rap project. Honestly, I didn’t think it would be something we’d actually do; just something we’d talk and joke about. But yesterday a track went down. We started at 9 and ended at 1:20 a.m the next day.
I guess what I’m trying to say is that we’ll have an EP out soon.
Awesome.
No updates over the past few weeks because I’ve been gone. I’ll do a little writing on my past travels, post a few photos and a few songs as well. Just a few weeks till the semester starts!
The Suburbs - Mr. Little Jeans.
I first heard this cover while I was at work. While Leo has been gone we’ve been playing an indie station. I this track and fell in love with the gorgeous voice and slow-tempo electro beat; a few minutes later i realized the lyrics were very familiar (obviously, i now realize it was an Arcade Fire cover).
Listen to this cover if it’s the last thing you do.
